Our Beef is humanely raised on pasture from April until the grass stops growing in the fall. Late fall until spring our cows are fed Hay and hayledge from local farms. They are outside year round and have access to shelter and wind breaks when the weather turns cold. Our cattle are fed a small amount of grain daily.  We get our grain from Poulin Grain based in Newport Vermont.

We raise Holstein and Jersey calves for beef.  They are actually a dairy breed so we do not get quite the same yeild as we would from a larger beef breed but they are easy to handle and produce very tender and flavorful beef. They are raised to an age of 20 -24 months.

Because we are a small farm all of our animals get individual attention and care.  They are handled and rotated on pasture on a regular basis which makes being around them enjoyable.
